Prerequisites:  MEBA 220 and a minimum of 45 earned credits

This course covers the principles of corporate finance and examines the foundations of tools for successful financial management.  Concepts of corporate finance and the basic tools for financial decision making are presented.  The student is then exposed to capital budgeting, capital markets and securities, risk and return on investment, dividend policy, derivatives, valuation, cost of capital, capital structure, short and long-term investment decisions, financial implications of mergers and acquisitions, and other recent and relevant topics.
