Home / How is an online course delivered?


Online courses, like all others in the Online Bachelor’s Degree Program, are delivered in a seven-week session. You will log in to the Moodle Learning Management System (LMS) through MyHU. The course may be either synchronous (offered at a designated online time such as 7-9 pm every Tuesday) or asynchronous (taken at your convenience).

Adobe Connect is the platform used for the synchronous learning environment. You, your classmates, and instructor will all be logged on at the same time for discussions, lectures, demonstrations, and so on. Adobe Connect sessions may be recorded for review at a later time.

Each online course is modular-based, meaning it is designed in seven modules – one for each week. The Moodle LMS is easy to navigate and includes links to other HU support services.
